Financial Arrangements of 6th WCRI
6th WCRI is a non-profit making conference. It is expected that around 50% of the income comes from registration fee, and 50% from sponsorship received from organizations that have a demonstrated interest in promoting integrity in research and whose values are consistent with the values of the World Conferences on Research Integrity.

The income received will be used to finance the necessary expenditure of the conference, and to provide travel grants to support selected participants from eligible emerging or developing countries. Based on the agreement between the World Conference on Research Integrity Foundation (WCRIF) and HKU, 50% of the positive financial surplus, if any, will be transferred to the WCRIF to finance future conferences and other related activities. The remaining 50% will remain at the local hosting university to support RI related activities within the University and the nearby region.
